Earth day and last school day

Last week we had earth day. Earth day is about taking care of our world and community. Something we did in class today that was not very environmental friendly was we cleaned with sprays, brooms and a duster.

Today is the IB2's last day of school ever. After school at 15:00 then they are going to have a waterfight. Every year there is a theme. This year it is military, so when I came to school then there was all the IB2's in military clothes and some with waterguns. (That they did not use.) Normally there is toilet paper in the tree by the gate, they did not do that this year. In the middle school they had decorated the whole building. They had flour on the floor and and the plants were on top of the sixth graders lockers.

This evening at 6:00-8:00 there is a disco, I am going to be there but I also have to work a little bit. That is because I am in student Council.

Exhibiton work

Today we worked on our exhibition. We got folders and loads of new cool stuff. The exhibition filled most of our day on tuesday and wednesday.For homework we had to type a summary for hatchet, it is a book we read. We went to ICT after that and then we had to turn in our technology project. We also practiced our typing using mavis beacon.

The first post of 2009

In Miss Tearse's math class we have been working on measuring volume and area of places in our school. In Mrs Christensen's class we have been working on measuring area of triangles and measuring the area of iregular shapes.

In unit of inquiry we are finishing our unit about ecosystems. We are also soon finishing our Urban ecosystem projects. In Mrs Christensen's class we are doing a group project and in Miss Tearse's class we have been working on our separate ecosystems. Today is the last day before easter holiday.
